Silk and Wool 1

When I got my first box of fibers from AbbysYarns, I opened it up to find these amazing colors all nestled together. Since I like to take pictures of the fiber before I spin it, I was photographing the individual pieces when I realized how much I loved them together. This also seems to be the very best image I've ever gotten of the colors; since then, the purples have washed out to blue, the greens and yellows don't pop as much, and the reds look too pink in all the other images I've taken.

On the left is the Tiger Lily (superwash Merino, tussah silk, firestar), in the middle is the tussah silk that I turned into Limonata, and on the right is an as-yet-unnamed Merino/firestar blend.

I'm offering this as a print, too; I hope you check it out. The colors really ARE that vibrant in real life.
